Prince Rupert Real Estate

Prince Rupert is a triangular neighbourhood, located within the old Hudson Bay company land reserve. In preparation for subdivision, Portage Avenue paved the streets, and streetcar tracks were laid down, later renamed Kingsway in honour of King George VI's visit in 1939.

For many decades the neighbourhood only contained a farm and a golf course. After the WWII housing boom, the area converted to residential uses.  Prince Rupert only had one school, Prince Rupert Elementary School, which shut down 1994-1995.

Near the shopping center Kingsway Mall and the Municipal Airport.

Prince Rupert real estate is bordered North by 118 Avenue, East by Kingsway, South by 111 Avenue, and West by 121 Street.
